It’s time to make your 2018 goals happen!
Are you behind on your 2018 goals?
Have you given up hope that you will reach them by the end of the year?
Well, I am going to give you some inspiration that helped me to feel motivated again. I now feel confident that I will be sitting pretty with a glass of champagne on 31st December, 2018 knowing that I reached my 2018 goals. And, you will too….
Every Great Conversation Starts With A Burger!
It’s a beautiful rainy weekend here in Sydney (and I’ll be damned if I let this weather bring my mood down). So, I wanted to touch base with you and let you know about a conversation I was having with my friend over a veggie burger on Friday night.
Side note: The burger was EPIC and I have been thinking about it ever since. #inlove
Anyway – We were talking about goals and discussed honestly with each other that we haven’t ticked off as many 2018 goals due to lack lustre. We expressed that we have honestly only given some of our goals 10-20% of our full gumption.
I told my friend about Eric Thomas and he posed the question….
“What Would Your Life Look Like If You Gave it 120%???”
As it is the start of October and we are heading towards the end of the year I think this is a good time to bring up goals.
What goals are you struggling to achieve?
How do you want your New Years Eve to feel? I’m not talking about the epic party or which boy or girl you want to kiss. I am talking about that accomplished feeling. That feeling of silly smiles and happy eyes knowing that you achieved something great that you thought was impossible.
Be honest with yourself……
How much effort have you put into reaching that ONE goal that you want to achieve by the end of the year?
Now, I want you to write out what it would look like if you gave that goal 120%. Make a list of all the ways that you would release fear, self-doubt and release all the negativity to rise up and start taking action.
Half the time when we are not reaching goals it is due to mindset and that inner voice called fear. We think of all the ways it hasn’t worked in the past, so why would it work now? However, I invite you to change these thoughts into positive thoughts. Instead of letting the negative thoughts stay and outplay in your mind, release them and choose a positive thought that uplifts you.
You will achieve your goals by the end of the year IF you watch your thoughts and start believing your goals are possible.
And, give it your 120% devotion.
